Viña Cobos – Felino Merlot

The Lujan de Cuyo vineyard is where Felino Merlot came from. The vineyard is placed and elevated from 3251 feet to 3838 feet and has a semi-desert climate.

The grapes are harvested by hand starting from March 18 up to the 4th day of April with 2.67 to 4.68 tons per acre.

The growing season gave good thermal amplitude during spring. Ferlino Merlot shows off a black garnet color filled with touches of fuchsia and royal purple, impressive aromas of bacon, red currant and cotton candy as well as flavors of boysencherry, strawberry, briar patch and blackberry.
