Chapel Hill – Chosen Gorge Block Chardonnay
Chardonnay is the world’s famous and most widely planted white wine grape variety originated from the Burgundy wine region of eastern France.
Grapes are harvested and selected by hand, gently pressed to extract delicate and aromatic juice, which is left and utilized for the wine production.
Chapel Hill – Chosen Gorge Block Chardonnay
The wine went through maturation process for 11 months in 100% French oak hogsheads. There are no extra fining agents added to the wine.
This white wine offers buttery aromas, presenting biscuity and doughy flavors combined with hints of sweet spices such as clove and cinnamon and notes of vanilla and smoke.
Chosen Gorge Block Chardonnay is a good match with mushrooms, butternut squash risotto, Japanese-style pork belly and roasted chicken with honey-sesame carrots.

Latest on Sicily, where Etna has a huge impact on the taste, which is strong with a bitter aftertaste for the youngest wines, but older wines are fantastic. Drinking wine, and writing about them, are one the passions. Remember to drink responsibly 🙂
