Chapel Hill – Chosen House Block Shiraz

Shiraz is the name given to the Syrah grape variety. It is the most popular and broadly planted in most of Australian vineyards.

February 17, 2012, grapes are harvested by hand and gently crushed to prepare for the fermentation process and stay in 100% French oak hogsheads for 20 months for maturation.

Proper winemaking process provides Chosen House Block Shiraz smooth aromas of walnuts, raspberries as well as cassis combined with beautiful fruity flavors of blueberries, blackcurrants and black cherries and hints of plum.

This red-blended wine has been considered great to pair with beef, lamb, game (deer, venison) and some poultries.
