Chapel Hill – Grenache Shiraz Mourvedre

GSM or the Grenache, Shiraz and Mourvedre is a famous blend originated in the Rhone Valley and now adopted by different countries.

Grapes are harvested individually by hand. Shiraz is harvested on the 21st of February 2012, Mourvedre on the 5th of March and Grenache is harvested on the 6th of March of the same year.

Unripe fruit flavors were avoided and grapes were fermented with continuous gentle pressing to prevent some harsh extraction of tannins. The maturation took place in 100% French oaks.

Accurate winemaking process contributed to its characteristics and tasting notes, which gave it the beautiful aromas of rosemary and aniseed.

This GSM wine displays layers of licorice and dark chocolate flavors that are perfectly intermixed with its firm tannin structure as well as its long and persistent finish.
