Chapel Hill – Verdelho
Verdelho is a classic grape variety combined with the fortified wines of Madeira and was the most planted grape variety during the 19th century.
Grapes of this wine are from the Kangarilla property of Chapel Hill and harvesting of began on the 17th of February until the 21st of the year 2014.
Chapel Hill – Verdelho
To fully develop the wine’s characteristics, grapes went through the fermentation process without barrel ageing; simply not being stored in wooden casks.
The Verdelho wine is showcased with fascinating tasting notes. The pale lemon color wraps the wine’s body showing off fresh tropical lift with a touch of lemon zest and lime cordial aromas combined with ripe, juicy and rich fruit flavors.
Verdelho became more alluring because of its good cleaning acidity dominated by loads of tropical, pear and citrus fruits going to a mouth-watering finish.
