Hardy’s Wine – Stamp Merlot

Merlot has a strong history connected to the Bordeaux region. This grape variety is a ruling variety in most wines from Saint-Emilion and Pomerol.

Aside from France, Merlot is also widely planted in some areas of Italy as well as in warmer places of southern Switzerland and in the United States.

This Merlot wine presents a deep violet color with purple hues and gives out amazing blackberry and dark cherries aromas with profound hints of herbs and liquorice.

This medium-bodied wine is filled with intense flavors of ripe plum, dark cherry and blackcurrant fruits. It becomes more balanced because of the complex vanilla and stewed rhubarb as well as other spicy oak characters.
