Château Malartic Lagraviere – Malartic Rouge

The Bordeaux blend is a combination of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Petit Verdot grape varieties, famous in France.

This blend is commonly used to produce red wine of Bordeaux and this varietal combination gives powerful structure and deep flavors.

Each of the grape variety was harvested individually. Merlot was harvested from September 21 to October 7 of 2015, yielding of Cabernet Sauvignon began on the 12th of October up to October 15th ; while Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot were harvested on the 8th of October of the same year.

The mellow aromas of blackcurrants, plums and tobacco make the wine more in demand, plus the vigorous flavors with notes of spice, truffle, mocha and a rich finish.
