Georges Duboeuf – Mâcon-Villages Domaine Lenoir
The Lenoir family has been living in the north of Mâcon for centuries. The owners of the Domaine have worked and stayed in Santa Maurice de Satonnay for many generations.
The father and son of the family have been crafting and creating wines for five generations that is why Mâcon-Villages wines are known to be high in quality.
One of the beautiful characteristics of this wine is its lovely pale golden color it offers as well as the floral and dried fruit aromas expressed on the nose.
The smooth, harmonious and fruity flavors such as lemon and peaches expose the full flavor of the Chardonnay grape with hints of hazelnut and lime blossom. It is best to taste the wine at 12 – 13 °C.

Latest on Sicily, where Etna has a huge impact on the taste, which is strong with a bitter aftertaste for the youngest wines, but older wines are fantastic. Drinking wine, and writing about them, are one the passions. Remember to drink responsibly 🙂
