Georges Duboeuf – Mâcon-Villages Mâcon Chaintré
The DOC appellations for Mâcon white wines were put into operation in 1937. The vineyards are managed accordingly.
Vineyards are worked on properly and received accurate grassing and scraping and also closely monitored related to yields and plant health.
Grapes of the vineyards are harvested using machines and undergo pneumatic pressing followed by cold pressing at a temperature of 15 °C.
Because of delicate and precise management process, wines obtained their fullness after the maturation on fine lees.
This wine selection offers a golden color body with intense, complex and fruity aromas and notes of verbena and camomile. It has been acknowledged as a superb wine that is best to try at 10 -12 °C.
