Georges Duboeuf – Moulin-a-Vent Clef du Bief
Philippe Guerin managed “La Clef du Bief” since 1980 and the vines have the average of fifty years of age.
Harvesting of grapes is done by hand; practicing the maturity control as yielding comes by to ensure the grapes’ excellent level of ripeness.
Some of the wines are aged in French oak barriques. Ruby red color was developed together with the floral aromas of red and black berries with a hint of spice.
The palate is filled with dynamic cherry, cranberry, with strong impact of anise and black pepper as well as mint and leather.
Wine’s clean acidity and mild tannins add up to its characteristics, which are loved by old as well as new wine drinkers.
