Georges Duboeuf – Moulin-a-Vent Domaine de la Vigne Romaine
Domaine de la Vigne Romaine is located in the commune of Romanesca, the site of one of the first Roman farms of the region.
The whole domaine is run by the Gimaray family for generations now. Some of the vines are forty years of age facing south to south to east.
The bilberry color of the wine preserves its brilliancy. It carries intense aromas headed by jammy dark berries with subtle notes of oak, vanilla and toasting.
This fine and distinctive wine offers flavors of blackcurrant and dark berry fruits with good tannin structure and best to taste at 15-16 °C.

Latest on Sicily, where Etna has a huge impact on the taste, which is strong with a bitter aftertaste for the youngest wines, but older wines are fantastic. Drinking wine, and writing about them, are one the passions. Remember to drink responsibly 🙂
