Georges Duboeuf – Patchblock Chardonnay
During the winemaking process, the grapes went through cold macerations with skin, thermoregulated low-temperature alcoholic fermentation as well as malolactic fementation and maturation on fine lees.
After an accurate winemaking process, beautiful tasting notes are fully developed. The wine’s core is covered with pale, gold color with tinges of silver.
Patchblock Chardonnay offers powerful aromas of star anise, sweet almond and citron, which open strongly with a silky texture and rounded finish.
The fresh flavors of this wine come with great hints of sweet spices such as clove and cinnamon and notes of vanilla and smoke. It is best to taste this at 9 – 10 °C.
