Georges Duboeuf – Régnié Domaine des Buyats
Since Régnié is a popular appellation in the northern part of Beaujolais, wines are expectedly high in quality and more than persuasive enough to drinkers.
This wine estate is located in a small village of Les Buyats brought in by the Coillard family back in 1820 and now, vines and vinification are taken care of by Pierre Coillard.
Georges Duboeuf – Régnié Domaine des Buyats
There was a Beaujolais Nouveau period wherein wines of the estate in the past were truly recognized by café owners at Lyon, who stood by and removed wines from the barrel right after fermentation has ended.
The brilliant ruby red color of this Régnié wine, revealing the complex blackberry aromas packed with redcurrants and early season raspberries flavors contribute a lot to its notable sales in the market.
