Georges Duboeuf – Saint-Amour Domaine du Paradis
The whole wine estate covers up fifteen hectares belonging to the Delorme family, who also makes white wines in addition to Saint Amour.
Saint Amour vines have the age of 55 years but some of them are as old as 80 years old. 400 square meters of the estate were planted 35 years ago, the best explanation why wines are fine and gorgeous.
The winery was modernized in 2004 having temperature-controlled stainless steel vats to craft wines that are more tasteful and fruitier.
The body shows the beautiful garnet color with delightful blackcurrant and cherry aromas, showing medium acidity, rough tannin as well as medium finish. .

Latest on Sicily, where Etna has a huge impact on the taste, which is strong with a bitter aftertaste for the youngest wines, but older wines are fantastic. Drinking wine, and writing about them, are one the passions. Remember to drink responsibly 🙂
