Genetically, the Tribidrag grapes are similar to the Zinfandel variety of grapes grown in California and the Kastelanski variety of grapes which are grown in the regions surrounding the country of Croatia.

So you can’t really narrow down the production of the Tribidrag variety of red wine to a particular country as it is widely grown and brewed both in European countries such as Croatia and the North American country of USA.

Origin

The Tribidrag variety of red wine is originally brewed from the red grapes grown in the country of Croatia.

But genetically, the red berries of Tribidrag are very much similar to the other grapes grown in Croatia such as Kastelanski and grapes grown in California called as the Zinfandel.

Both of these other grapes are also characterised by the reddish overtones of their grape skins.

It has been considered that the early European travellers and explorers may have carried the seeds across to USA, where the grapes were grown and harvested.

There are several other theories and explanations that are in inspection for how these geographically isolated varieties of red grapes have the same genetic or DNA make up.

The surprising part is that the wine made from these different red grape varieties taste the same.

This confirms that these mentioned types of grapes are of the same genetic make-up.

Characteristics

The Tribidrag variety of red wine is a splendid red wine which is produced from the grapes that have a reddish overtone to their skins.

The shapes of these red berries range from perfectly round to elongated shapes when grown using natural methods of agriculture.

The stems of the grapes that make up the Tribidrag variety of red wine are a deep green colour like many of the other grapes that are grown in the same regions as these grapes.

The Tribidrag variety of red wine has a deep red colour to it resembling the colour of pomegranates.

This exquisite colour of the wine is what makes it super attractive and also increases its value among the wine enthusiasts.

The red berries that make up the Tribidrag variety of red wine have a high sugar content which makes them more alcoholic than usual wines.

It has been verified that the alcohol content of the wine often exceeds well over 15%, which is considered quite a high percentage of alcohol for a red wine.

Food Pairing

The Tribidrag variety of red wine is high is sugar and alcohol levels and hence has a particular type of foods that go well with it.

Food that can neutralize the higher levels of spirit in the wine are often considered as a very good combination.

These kinds of foods can be different varieties of breads and garlic breads. Breads such as parmesan bread are a very good choice of combination.

Other types of foods that would have the same effect would be foods that are high in dairy content.

Often cottage cheese marinated in yogurt which is spiced is a popular combination with the Tribidrag variety of red wine.

Since the berries that make the Tribidrag variety of red wine are very high in sugar content, the wine itself takes some of the same qualities and hence has a sweetish tone to it.

This means that it would go well with food items that have a bit of an acidic nature.

This means that slightly acidic pastas and pasta sauces would be a good combination.

Vegetarian dishes such as pickled salads, pickled cabbage, etc. are also a good acidic combination to consume with the Tribidrag variety of red wine.

Apart from these, there are several other acquired tastes that go well with the Tribidrag variety of red wine.
