Agronomica is a red grape variety known to be a minor, smoky-flavored, Portuguese cross found in Acores, but not mainly grown in Portugal.

Origin

Based from the Vitis International Variety Catalogue, the crossbreed of Castelao and Muscat Hamburg that is made in Portugal is not evident and consistent as a parentage of Agronomica and Castelao in Velosa as well as Muscat Hamburg in various sources.

Characteristics of Agronomica

The Agronomica vines which are found in Acores and not mainly grown in the Portugal produce berries that ripen early to mid.
