Trousseau Gris is referred to a French variety of white wine grape that is nothing but a light-skinned mutation of the dark variety of the Trousseau grape which finds its origin in the eastern France.

Origin

It is considered that this white wine grape variety is a native to Jura region of Eastern France.

However, this grape variety originally hails from the Alsace-Lorraine region in the northern France located near the German border.

After that the growers began to plant this white wine grape variety in the regions of California, however, by the 1980s the same began to disappear.
