This red wine grape variety is concerned with the production and preparation of the velvety and semi-sweet red wines that are very tasteful as to their nature.

The vines of this red wine grape variety are considered as highly-prized vines because of the unique and rare existence of this grape variety.

Interestingly, this red wine grape variety comprises of a unique set of more than five hundred different Vitisvinifera grape varieties that are concerned with the production of different kinds of wines.

More interestingly, only thirty-eight out of these five hundred grapes are taken into the use for the production as well as the preparation of the commercial wines in all the regions where the plantation and cultivation of the vines of this red wine grape variety is carried out.

The grapes such as Saperavi and Rkatsiteli are considered to be the most important grapes from this unique set.

The name of this red wine grape variety translates as ‘unnamed’ that simply means that the description of this grape is beyond words.

This high-prized and valuable grape variety entertains very low yields on the vineyards. This factor was once considered as a minus point; however, today it has been changed into a positive aspect for this grape variety.

The high-quality red wine grape variety always keeps motivating the winegrowers to cultivate and take care of the vines of this red wine grape variety at their best.

Today, the plantation and cultivation of this red wine grape variety are mostly carried out in the small area of Racha-Leckhumi district in the western part of Republic of Georgia.

To be more specific, it is believed that the vines of this red wine grape variety are grown on the mountain slopes of the area of Lechkumi, particularly near the villages of Aubi, Okhureshi as well as Isunderi.

The production and cultivation of this red wine grape variety has become very limited today. Considering all the good years, the wines produced out of this red wine grape variety are bottled only in around 700 to 1000 bottles and this factor also makes these wines as the expensive wines of the country that are not so easy to buy.

The wines out of this red wine grape variety are produced by restricting the process of fermentation before it completes itself.

Thus, this action leaves the residual sugar present in the grape and the results are the tasteful semi-sweet wines. The alcohol level present in the wines of this red wine grape variety reaches up to 11 percent respectively.

This red wine grape variety is also addressed under a number of synonyms such as Usakhelori, Ogureshuli, Oussaheloouri and Okourechoulirespecrively.

This grape produces the wines that are considered to be very rare. Apart from being rare, the wines produced out of this red wine grape variety are considered to be very high in terms of its qualities.

The grape produces the varietal wines that are naturally semi-sweet as to their taste. The beautiful deep red color of the wines is heartening and delightful.

The aromas that the wines of this grape variety exhibited are rich and well-expressed and they certainly remind the drinkers of the berries and Saperavi.

The wines so produced out of this red wine grape variety are considered to be the pleasing wines that entertain a good amount of acidity which is further accompanied by decent tannins. Thus, to sum it up, these wines never fall short of good qualities and characteristics.
