Planeta – Burdese

Burdese locally means Bordeaux, which recalls the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc.

In terms of characteristics, this red wine is produced in very limited quantities from selected vineyards.

Harvesting of grapes was September 5th followed by the destalking process for 21 days and went through racking maturation in Alier oak barriques and malolactic fermentation done in wood and stainless steels.

After a great wine production process, interesting tasting notes followed through. The powerful red color of the body gives it more density which leads to greater characteristics.

The nose suggests the combination aromas of spices, red fruit and black cherry with accents of leather, earth, cocoa marine and mineral notes.

Bilberry, preserved sour cherries with mixed with leather represents Planeta Burdese’s flavors developed into greater aromas of cherry, cocoa, iodine and rosemary.
