Planeta – Chardonnay

Chardonnay of Planeta Winery is an icon for the whole of Sicily. Produced from the vines of Ulmo and Maroccoli is unique in terms of aspect and terroir.

Grapes were harvested on the 4th of September and went through vinification.

After destalking, soft pressing and low static sedimentation; grapes passed through fermentation at a controlled temperature of 18⁰C.

The accurate fermentation and French wood aging gave this Chardonnay wine uniqueness in terms of its tasting notes.

Deep clear golden but color conquers its body while suggesting an indeed refreshing peaty, cereal and toasted aromas on the nose and presenting harmonious flavors of ripe yellow peaches, acacia honey and marzipan.
