Planeta – Eruzione 1614 Nerello Mascalese
Grapes are harvested by hand on the 20th of October and put into crates and refrigerated at 10⁰C and selected carefully for destalking.
Fermentation happens in stainless steel vats at a controlled temperature 25⁰C and remains for 21 days with short stirrings followed by malolactic fermentation and maturation for 12 months.
Careful winemaking process contributed to the wine’s characteristics. The transparent ruby red tint makes it more attractive.
The sweet and generous flavors are combined with the aromas of incense, herbs, hibiscus, beeswax and wild fennel, which give the wine drinkers come back to their glasses.
