Planeta – Passito di Noto

Passito di Noto is produced from one of the oldest vines in the world, the Moscato Bianco; which is named for its small berries and seeds.

This Passito is an ancient wine, but now produced using a modern system of “appassimento” or the so called grape drying.

Grapes are harvested when fully ripe at the end of August and placed them in 5 kilograms crates after drying in the fruit cellar.

This bright golden yellow wine suggests full dried apricots, mango, orange peel, medlar, dates, pistachio cream and vanilla aromas and offers sweet and fleshy flavors with lively citrus notes.
