Planeta – Rosè
Nero d’Avola is the most important red wine grape variety of Sicily while Syrah is a common grape variety grown throughout the world.
Rosè is made from both grape varieties produced by Planeta Winery. It’s a full representation of how summer it is in Sicily.
Planeta – Rosè
Grapes are harvested on the 25th of August followed by destalking and fermentation for 7 – 14 days at a controlled temperature of 25⁰C.
Rosè carries a delicate, pale salmon pink colour reminding the elegance of a prima ballerina combined with uplifting aromas with hints of wild strawberries, raspberries and rhubarb.
Wine drinkers hunt for this wine because of its lively and fresh flavors collecting the memories of meringue as well as pale flesh of peaches.

Michael is an online enthusiast, with a lot of knowledge about online marketing. Traveling around the world to hunt for the perfect wine. Latest on Sicily, where Etna has a huge impact on the taste, which is strong with a bitter aftertaste for the youngest wines, but older wines are fantastic. Drinking wine, and writing about them, are one the passions. Remember to drink responsibly 🙂
