Castello di Ama – Rosato

The Rosato wine comes from the terroir of Castello di Ama San Lorenzo.

It is a great blend of Sangiovese and Merlot grape varieties which gives more character to the wine.

Harvesting of grapes are done manually and well sorted and prepared for fermentation process.

During the harvesting of grapes, different weather conditions were presented which led to the delay of yielding and lasted from September 26 to October 6 2015.

It is done at a controlled temperature of 16–18 °C and bottled from January 11 to February 17, 2016.

The Rosato wine displays a pale cherry pink color; suggests fruit-rich aromas with fresh red berries, wild strawberry and cherry and fresh-tasting flavors.
