Castello di Ama – Vigneto Bellavista

Vigneto Bellavista is a Chianti Classico wine from Castello di Ama made from Sangiovese and Malvasia Nera varieties from Bellavista vineyard.

Grapes are harvested by hand thoroughly filling in 10 to 12 kilograms crates to be followed by careful inspection and sorting.

The fermentation is done in steel tanks by variety, which begins using cured yeasts with a controlled temperature of 30–33 °C.

This process requires manual pumping over and lasts for 26 days for Sangiovese and 23 days for Malvasia Nera.

Vigneto Bellavista carries a very dark ruby color with crimson and violet hues. The nose represents ripe fruit notes including plum hints of jam, roasted coffee and toasty.
