Leonardo – Morellino di Scansano
Morellino is the provincial name for the Sangiovese grape. Vinification has a long process, yet full of assurance. Softening of grapes during fermentation takes place for almost 10 days.
Decaying of anthocians is needed to obtain intense and pleasant fruit aroma.
Leonardo – Morellino di Scansano
The wine then is stored in thermo-conditioned tanks until the month of March. Morellino di Scansano is obviously made from Sangiovese as well as from other red grapes which gave the wine intense, depth, purple red tint as well as passionate and pleasant fruity aroma.
Its soft, clear and round tannins make the wine full-flavored, fresher and more agreeable as wine lovers drink it.
