Taylor’s Port Wine – 40 Year Old Tawny

The Douro is a Portuguese wine region, sometimes referred to as the Alto Douro or the upper Douro. This is where 40 Year Old Tawny came from.

This special port wine is made from exclusively from the grapes grown in Taylor’s own vineyards, which is one of the few remaining houses producing 40 Year Old Tawny.

Ten years of evaporation and aging in wood made the wine more concentrated and developed its old olive-gold color and the aromas of dried fruit, honey and a touch of spice.

The flavors of nutmeg and roasted coffee combined with intense nuttiness contributed to 40 Year Old Tawny’s incredible length.
