Taylor’s Port Wine – Classic Vintage

Vintage Port is absolutely the most expensive member of the Port family of wines. This is made from the best grape varieties from the Douro region.

This vintage wine was found three centuries ago, in the year 1692. Since Taylor is the most popular among port houses, it is acknowledged as the key for the success of Vintage Port.

The ripening of grapes began with relatively cool weather, which continued throughout July, but August gave an intense and hot weather.

During the harvest, there was no rain at all that contributed to its richness in color, tannins as well as sugar.

The pure and vigorous aromas of citrus fruit blossom and wild herbal such as mint and lavender open the notes of concentrated black woodland fruit laced with raspberries and plum and intense ripe black fruit.
