Grown on a range of granitic and colluvial soils in the Apalta region of Chile’s Colchagua Valley. The vineyards are also among the highest and steepest vineyards in the area. This tough environment naturally produces low yields of high quality berries. Intense red and black fruit characters are accented by tobacco leaf and toasted oak aromas. Full bodied and fleshy, with a thick, velvety, and slightly sanguine texture. Drink with rare barbecued steaks for the perfect marriage of smoky flavours and meaty textures.
