The 100% natural handcrafted whiskey liqueur is infused with whole cloves, cinnamon sticks and black peppercorns. The infusion process happens over 7 days and is the first of its kind to be produced in Ireland said Prendergast. Malt and grain whiskey prepared from the finest quality malted barley, maize and purest water is distilled and matured in first fill bourbon casks. Allowing to mature for 3 years, the malt and grain whiskey are delicately blended. The resultant blended whiskey is then infused with the finest hand selected spices including cinnamon (Sri Lanka), ground pepper (Peppercorns – Vietnam) and cloves (India) to a secret and cherished recipe. The infusion is allowed to develop and tested daily until the perfect sensory profile is arrived at (average 7 days).
