Bodegas Castaño – Dominio Espinal Rose
This young rose wine is made from 100% Monastrell grape variety, produced in Bodegas Castaño in the region of Yecla in Spain.
Grapes are planted in an 18-year old vineyard with a cool, but not cold temperature. Harvest of grapes is every first week of October of the year 2015.

Bodegas Castaño – Dominio Espinal Rose
After harvest, fermentation takes place for 13 – 14 days with a controlled temperature of 15ºC.
The wine becomes more fascinating to drink because of its expressive aromas of fresh fruit specifically strawberry as well as its pleasant flavor.
Its pale pink, shiny and clean color makes it more presentable in the market.

Latest on Sicily, where Etna has a huge impact on the taste, which is strong with a bitter aftertaste for the youngest wines, but older wines are fantastic. Drinking wine, and writing about them, are one the passions. Remember to drink responsibly 🙂
