Bodegas Castaño – Red Monastrell
Grapes are harvested during the second week of October of 2015 and undergo the fermentation with a controlled temperature of 28ºC as well as the maceration process within 10 days.
Maceration happens in stainless steel tanks, which makes the wine more attractive.
Bodegas Castaño – Red Monastrell
The shiny, cherry red color of Red Monastrell and the intense fruity aroma of mature fruits such as blueberries and raspberry give more quality and great outlook to the wine as a whole.
This wined is made up of pure Monastrell grape variety, which is the most vital ingredient and also called as Mataro or Mourvedre.

Latest on Sicily, where Etna has a huge impact on the taste, which is strong with a bitter aftertaste for the youngest wines, but older wines are fantastic. Drinking wine, and writing about them, are one the passions. Remember to drink responsibly 🙂
