Norfolk, which is the county in England, is largely a rural county with a population density of 155 per square kilometres.

Today, this county is famous as an all-year tourist destination with several tourist attractions.

This, which is present in the East Anglia, is providing some good shopping experiences and nightlife entertainment.

With National Park, forests, nature reserves, market towns, and seaside resorts, this place is found to be marked as a must-visit by most of the travel lovers.

Wineries to Visit in Norfolk

There are some great wineries to visit in and around Norfolk. They are:

Winbirri Vineyards

This winery, which is located in Norwich, has started to collect awards for the excellent-quality English wines recently.

A special thing about this winery is that they are hosting wine tour and tasting experience days all through the year.

This makes it easier for the tourists as not everyone can visit the county during the same season of the year.

During the tour, the tourists are found to be guided by the experienced winemakers and they will explain you about the vineyard and the wines being produced here.

Some of the famous wines from this winery are:

  • Bacchus Dry white
  • Solaris Dry white
  • Seyval Blanc Off/Dry white
  • English Sparkling
  • Reserve Red/Full bodied
  • Pinot Noir Red/Light bodied
  • Norfolk Pink Dry rose

Humbleyard English wines

The first vines of this vineyard were planted in the year 2010. Now, this has become one of the first vineyards of East Anglia to receive awards at national and international levels. This vineyard is found to be covering almost eight acres of land with about 10,000 vines.

As such, the vineyards are found to be covered with nine grape varieties. Both red and white grape varieties are grown to produce almost all types of wines including rose and sparkling varietals.

Breweries to Visit in Norfolk

The county has renowned breweries to visit. They are:

Buffy’s Brewery

This brewery, which has established itself as one among the leading brewers, produced its first beer during the year 1993.

The fine ales of the brewery have won several awards both at local and national levels.

The brewery welcomes visitors at any time through the year but with prior arrangements. You can take your children too!

The beers that are being brewed by the brewery include the following:

  • Buffy’s bitter

  • Norwegian blue
  • Mild
  • Mucky duck
  • Hopleaf
  • Polly’s folly
  • Norwich terrier

Humpty Dumpty Brewery

This brewery was founded in the year 1998 and is currently operating an eleven-barrel brew plant. It’s to be mentioned that the brewery is producing a wide range of real ales with few of them are award-winning varieties.

At present, the brewery is found to be delivering both cask and bottled real ales all across East Anglia.
