Surrey Wine Region

Home to Great Vineyards

Surrey, which is located in the southeastern part of England, is a home county and is bordered by Kent on its eastern side, West Sussex in its southern side, Hampshire in the western side, and Berkshire in its northwestern side.

With a population of around 1.1 million, this is found to be the third-densely populated country in the southeastern part of the country.

With 11 eleven districts, this region is found to be a wealthy region in the whole England. Among the many special features of this county, I would like to mention that Surrey is a home to great vineyards and it would be exciting for a wine lover to explore them.

As the name suggests, the wine grapes are being cultivated in the Albury by following the organic and biodynamic methods of viticulture and hence, the wine grapes from these vineyards are free from herbicides and pesticides.

Since the start, this vineyard has been striving to make the high-quality range of English sparkling wines. The terroir of this vineyard is rare and is enjoying the same limestone formation as the world-famous Champagne region.
