A Chanson monopole in the very heart of the first Growths vineyards of Beaune. The vineyards covering 3.80 ha is located on a mid slope. The Clos des Feves was already known in the 14th century under the latin word Fae. Dark ruby colour. Very refreshing aromas of red berries mixed with tobacco and vanilla. Ample and well-structured. Dense with a tight structure. Well integrated oak note and elegant tannic structure. Good persistence. Food Pairing : Game (pheasant), poultry and all the classic cheeses (Epoisses, Langres). Aged in French oak for 12 months.
