The village of Volnay is well known for the elegance of its red wines and this one is no exception. It expresses aromas of small red and black fruits, mixed with spices and a delicate woodiness. These greedy, fruity tastes are wrapped up in fine tannins which give a velvet touch on the palate. This monopole or single-estate vineyard of Domaine Faiveley, was acquired in 2003.
