Prestige selection wines are blended from Josmeyer’s most favoured vineyards in Wintzenheim, Turckheim and Wettolsheim. The grapes are hand-picked and carefully chosen from vines a minimum of 35 years old. Like the sprites from popular legends, this wine is cheerful, pleasant and good child. It brings pleasure and joy of living. Straw yellow in colour. A discrete nose reveals white flowers. The palate is plump and rounded, showing ripe apricot and plum with floral tones which is finely balanced by a taut acidity which lends freshness and balance. A dense wine, with typical acidity of the 2010 vintage which will age well. Ideal served fish terrines, mussels, cockles, omelettes, souffles, raw vegetables and creamy cheeses.
