A blend of Tinta Amarela, Syrah, Mourvedre and Grenache and Carignan. Fynbos, pomegranate, cloves, pepper, ripe plums, masses of piquant spice and a lean savoury finish. Mediterranean styled blend of alternative varietals. The first bottling of The Field Marshall, 1200 bottles intended as braai-wine for friends and family, was a world-first blend of Tempranillo & Malbec.
