Tremendous depth of black red colour, with an almost opaque centre, the 2007 Ebrescade is powerful and intensely perfumed. With aromas of black cherry, woodsmoke and some spicy, gunflint notes on the nose giving way to concentrated, rich ripe red and black fruit on the palate, supported by a beautifully-balanced tannin structure, this is Richaud at his best.
