Description
The palate is guided by a fine and light phenolic line and while the acidity is crisp, providing the drive, it is certainly not searing.
Pale straw colour with slight green hues. The nose is finely proportioned with soft white stonefruit aromas, quite fruit-focussed and pure.
Dry to taste, this is tightly bound and fruit-pure. White stonefruits and a little hint of tropical fruit show.
The palate is guided by a fine and light phenolic line and while the acidity is crisp, providing the drive, it is certainly not searing.
The wine finishes dry and delicately textured.
Escarpment Vineyard is excited to be able to release the first Pinot Blanc from its Te Muna Road Vineyard.
We believe our site ideally suits Pinot Noir so feel a classic Pinot Blanc will result as well.
