Today, only a few vineyards of this white wine grape variety are found in the regions of Bellet. This white wine grape variety is considered as a very low-yielding variety of grape.

Unfortunately, the declining popularity of the grapes is perhaps partly as a result of the steep sites on which this white wine grape variety is grown traditionally. In this particular region, machine harvesting is nearly impossible.

The global popularity of this white wine grape variety is not very much noted in today’s time. Thus, this white wine grape variety is rarely noticed outside the regions of Provence.

This white wine grape variety hails from the region of France and the cultivation of this grape variety is carried out very traditionally over there.
