Colour: Excellent concentration. Pronounced intense ruby colour. Nose: Intense aroma of black plums, blackberries and chocolate notes. Palate: Fruity, balanced and smooth, despite the intense and firm tannins. Excellent balance between wood and wine, good acidity, which allows a good aging in the bottle. Food Pairing: It combines well with red meat dishes and game. It should be served at 18 degrees celsius. It also features spicy notes and violets. 85% Touriga Nacional, 10% Tinta Roriz, 5% Touriga Franca. Decanting will have a major benefit. With an annual production of just 4,500 bottles, this is a very select wine and can be aged for more than 10 years, although its deep port like flavour makes it delicious already. The farm is in the Region of Cha in the Douro. Grapes harvested in the 2nd week of September in 10 days and with a perfect phenolic maturity.
