The aging process of this Rioja Gran Reserva wine for three months in Allier 22,000 L oak vats and twenty – four months in French and American oak casks created superb and classic tasting notes.
The garnet red color with russet tint is how Edulis Gran Reserva is presented. It gives sweet blackberry and mocha on the palate with a rich aftertaste.
The syrupy blackberry and spiced vanilla notes are backed up with the hints of balsam fir and fume of leather and mineral.
Edulis Gran Reserva is an excellent match with venison, boar and partridge; it is also best paired with red meats and Gruyere or blue cheeses as well as with not-too-sweet chocolate desserts.
