Georges Duboeuf – Moulin-a-Vent Domaine du Moulin-a-Vent

Moulin-a-Vent is absolutely the most remarkable among the ten crus of Beaujolais.

The Moulin-a-Vent wines are known to be concentrated and tannic, made from 100% Gamay grapes.

The wine estate has been running by the Chastel-Sauzet family since the year 1850.

Vines planted on this estate cover five hectares that make it highly-reputable. The soil is great for growing vines since it is made up of pink friable granite while the supporting soil is rich in manganese which are both useful in crafting high quality wines.

This Moulin-a-Vent wine displays an intense, wonderful and dark garnet color revealing the aromas of cherries, violets and subtle spiciness.

This wine has dark plum flavors, developing dark berries and jammy notes with notable length and best to taste at 14 – 15 Β°C.
