Castello di Ama – L’ Apparita

Castello di Ama is known in creating stylish and special wines. The L’Apparita wine is an Indicazione Geografica Tipica wine made from 100% Merlot.

During the harvesting of grapes, different weather conditions were presented and the lower temperatures caused delay in the process of hand-picking.

The beginning of fermentation uses cured yeasts. It is done in steel tanks with a controlled temperature of 30–33 °C in a total of 25 days and moved for the malolactic fermentation.

The aging of wine lasted for 18 months in fine-grain oak barriques and bottled on the 21st of September 2013 which led to fair yet amazing tasting notes.

L’Apparita displays deep, dense crimson with violet shade and offers red berries, blackberries, spice, black peppercorns and juniper aromas.

The stylish, velvety and mouth-filling flavor makes L’Apparita more fascinating.
