Taylor’s Port Wine – 1966 Single Harvest

Taylor’s Port Wine holds one of the most comprehensive port wines of very old aged in cask from different producers and has a collection of rare Single Harvest Ports.

This collection of port wines was completely aged to full maturity in hardened oak casks and the labels include the scheduled year of harvest.

1966 Single Harvest was created third in the series and gives way to celebrate the unforgettable 50-year old port wine yet in an impeccable form.

This port wine developed great and distinctive characteristics. The body shows off medium golden mahogany with hints of olive green on its curve.

The complex aromas on the nose show walnut, macadamia, brown sugar and a warm spicy background of molasses and caramel balanced with its smooth and honeyed palate with rich flavors of spice, figs, mocha and confit apricot.

Its marked acidity and the long beautiful balance on the finish added more quality to the wine and 1966 Single Harvest continued to impress wine drinkers.
