Taylor’s Port Wine – 1965 Single Harvest

The Taylor’s Port house created a wide collection of extensive cask aged reserves, which is composed of rare and relevant Single Harvest Ports.

Single Harvest Ports are not supposed to be confused with Vintage Ports because they are produced in a single year aged in seasoned oak casks.

1965 Single Harvest is aged to its full maturity that contributed to its mellowness and complexity, which made it ready for drinking. The year of harvest is being displayed on its label.

Taylor’s was dedicated to release the limited 1965 Single Harvest as part of celebrating its 50th anniversary or birthday with the best presentation.

Because of great maturation process, 1965 Single Harvest developed an alluring tawny color fading to an amber rim with discreet olive highlights.

The attractive aromas of walnut and marzipan nuttiness complement well with the notes of oak and scents of marmalade, cinnamon and black pepper as well as the full, round and mellow spicy flavors of 1965 Single Harvest.
