Chapel Hill – Fortified Shiraz

Shiraz is normally blended with Grenache and Mourvedre grape varieties, which usually creates a widely known blend called GSM.

Harvesting of grapes was done on the 1st of April 2015 and went through the fermentation process as well as ageing for 3 months stocked in 50% stainless steel and in 50% 5-year old French hogsheads.

With the guidance of Chapel Hill’s winemakers and viticulturist, accurate and careful winemaking process was done with quality and contributed to the wine’s characteristics.

The incredible aromas of chocolate, violets, spice and plumy black fruit combined with rich, sweet and savory flavors are balanced with well measured tannin, which make Fortified Shiraz more in demand in the wine industry.
