Leonardo – Chianti Riserva
Chianti Riserva is an Italian red wine produced primarily in the hilly sections of Vinci as well as the nearby districts in Tuscany, Italy.
The harvested grape undergoes fermentation with a controlled temperature of 28/29°C usually occurs in steel tanks for 12 – 14 days.

Constant pumping over is needed to encourage the release of color substances and polyphenolic components.
The aging of Chianti Riserva wines takes place in French oaks for exactly 10 months.
The finest fermentation process of Sangiovese, Merlot and other grapes gave Chianti Riserva the attractive, clear purple red tint; perfect nuances of ripe cherries with a hint of gentle spices such as black tea leaves.
Chianti Riserva has a full-structured flavor with an agreeable finish a long aftertaste.

Michael is an online enthusiast, with a lot of knowledge about online marketing. Traveling around the world to hunt for the perfect wine. Latest on Sicily, where Etna has a huge impact on the taste, which is strong with a bitter aftertaste for the youngest wines, but older wines are fantastic. Drinking wine, and writing about them, are one the passions. Remember to drink responsibly 🙂
