Planeta – Noto Nero d’Avola

Noto Nero d’Avola is produced from the heart of Noto area in the old communities Buonivini and Agliastro where Nero d’Avola has always been cultivated.

Nero d’Avola or also called as Calabrese is the most essential and widely planted red wine grape variety in the Sicily region.

Grapes are harvested on the 15th of September followed by careful destalking as well as maceration for 14 days. Fermentation is done at a controlled temperature of 25⁰C.

The purple purplish body of this Noto wine gives it more appeal suggesting the aromas of mulberry, blackberry and carob with bay, incense and balsamic finish.

The characteristics of this wine are represented by its elegant and structured flavors, which are superbly combined.
